Presidential Address

As incoming president of Rotaract Club of Windsor (1918) for the year 2010-2011, I would like to say what an honor it is to have been chosen by last year’s executive. I’ve been a part of Rotaract since January of 2009 and was secretary this past year. Through this time I have learned so much and have had an incredible experience and I hope to lead Rotaract into a great year! I’ve been at the University of Windsor since the fall of 2007 and am currently working towards a degree in Nursing as well as a degree in Biology. I’m also involved in the University of Windsor Emergency Response Team and hold the position as Personnel Director. I’m also an associate delegate for the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association. I’m looking forward to working with members of Rotaract as well as members of Rotary to serve the community and provide “service above self.”

Battle of The Brains Wrap Up

The Rotaract Club decided to bring back the battle of the brains, and what a success it was! Over 150 people attended, and all proceeds raised from the night went to the shelter boxes for Haiti. Pinning Ceremony 2010

Rotaract Club of Windsor 1918 held it’s 2nd pinning ceremony for its new members. Members from the Windsor and Roseland Rotaray clubs were in attendance for this occasion. The upcoming events were discussed and agreed upon. Stay tuned for upcoming news on Rotaract’s events.
