Approve Minutes

Membership
Membership forms and money will be held off till the next meeting. Leaving the club you will not be refunded but you are welcome to come back if you leave for some time
Polos
They will have the Rotaract crest on them with the colors of either black or maroon

We will use facebook as our main resource for contacting

Code of Conduct Outline

Cynthia will be taking care of attendance because we all have responsibility with the club and if you can’t take on the responsibility please let Cynthia know
We need to operate as a team and must show respect for others
Club Days/Club Summit
Club summit – 30th of September, time is still unknown
Club days – we will book a booth and Anna and Amanda will be organizing that day
New Members
Welcome!
Meetings normally held Sunday @ 1:30 in the CAW
We will tentatively keep this as the time for meetings
Events
We were thinking of an Art Auction
We were thinking around November or December at $3
Motion to approve $75 for a liquor license for the event: APPROVED
So local artists will be putting together an art show to fundraise money
Of the art: 50% will go to artists and 50% will go to charity
The $3 entrance fee will go to Rotaract
The tentative date will be November 20th
Kathy needs to go and get the off campus event form from the UWSA
We need to ID and have bracelets for people that can drink wine
For the battle of the brains held at the end of March it will be partnered with Rotary and 100% of proceeds will go to charity – Ambassador auditorium will need to be book
March 26th
Kathy thinks if we had profs involved we would be getting more students out
100-150 people
We will not be doing a fashion show this year
We will be getting T-Shirts from Shinerama and we will be helping with the BBQ they will be having
December we will be helping out in a soup kitchen
Also thinking of a Children’s Gift Day in December
We also want to help out with an engineering project – we have the proposal and they will be making an engine to push it to its endurance limit and they will also be having a dinner on September 11th – we need to decide whether we will be fundraising or planning an event with them
For the Art Auction:
Let’s think of a name for this auction and we will have Amanda do a flyer for the auction
Charities Ideas: Terry Fox, Windsor Cancer Clinic, Project Hope
Alex will keep us updated on job opportunities and volunteer opportunities over campus

Amanda will be doing flyers for Rotaract
5 part leadership development workshop last week and Alex wants us to share the information with us
