THE ROTARACT CLUB OF WINDSOR 1918

Minutes of the monthly meeting of the Rotaract Club of Windsor 1918 held on Sunday (February,22, 2009) at (1:30 pm) in CAW Center.

Welcome Remark
The President, Alex Kais, took the chair and welcomed those in attendance.
The schedule for the week of the fashion show was discussed the following was agreed upon.
13th Pick up from Urban Trade, Sony and Diva
16th Go to Devonshire Mall at 9.00 am
Hugo Boss at 1.30pm
Run through with the models at 7-10 pm in the pub

17th Pick up from Soiree’s will be done by Brad, Alex and Geoff
18th Anna is going to Divas to collect the items
Table and chairs will be set up in Ambassador Auditorium
19TH Set up begins at 12pm with shifts till 4.30pm
Model arrive at 2.00pm

Other items discussed at the meeting where as follows
D.J Mike is coming next meeting. Geoff is bringing two CDs of music so that the music will be organized by the next meeting.
Contracts have to be signed by Marvel.
Alex is meeting with Dean on Wednesday.
Rhea and Brad are going to be at the front door
Amanda and Geoff will be handling the Raffles.
Amanda will be doing a facebook group for the public.
All members are reminded that they are to bring their contributions of $12.50 at the next meeting
Josh will be responsible for the male models
Anna and Kathy will be responsible for the female models
There will be no coat check and that room will be used to store the dresses the models will be wearing
It was noted that four tables have been bought namely form the Rotary, Engineers without borders, Social Science Department and Dr Meava.
Upcoming events include the next meeting on the 1st of March, the meeting with the models on the 6th March and the meeting with Dean on the 26th of March.
Josh will be handling the presentation to the Nurses society on the 23rd of February.

The Windsor Star and the Lance have confirmed that they will be running the ads for the fashion show.
Note to all member please remember that Elections are coming up on the 1ST if March. Please email Alex if you are interested in any positions on the board.
Termination of Meeting
President Alex thanked all the members for their thoughts and input. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the President terminated the meeting at 3.00 pm.
