Meeting Begins at 1:13
1.    Welcoming of Guest Speaker: Dr. Rick Caron from Windsor 1918

⇒    Rotary International Exchange program
⇒    Travelled to Hungary for 32 days and rotary international paid for flight and gifts
⇒    Spent only about $300 for entire trip individually
⇒    Dr. Caron presented a Rotaract Banner to our club
⇒    Cynthia presents Dr. Caron with a polo as well as a card of appreciation

2.    New Members/Membership and Polos
⇒    New members were introduced, Byron and Tiffany
⇒    Email Alex if you are still interested in getting a polo there are only a few left

3.    Art Auction

⇒    November 20th
⇒    Thanks to Kristin and Erin for their hard work on tickets and posters
⇒    Tickets have been printed and are 5 dollars so each member should sell 5 at a minimum
⇒    We will each receive the tickets and then you will sell them and give the money for them
⇒    Deadline for the selling the tickets will be a week before the event (November 13th)
⇒    Emphasize that they are cheap and we want to support big brothers and big sisters
⇒    Tickets are non-refundable
⇒    Conflict will be the première of Twilight
⇒    Credit and Debit and cash will be available at the event
⇒    November 11th is deadline for submission of art work for auction
⇒    Artist will be getting their ticket free
⇒    We will be doing o’deurves only no sandwiches or cheese
⇒    Kristen can look into buying cheese platers from Zehrs and her friend may be able to get a discount for us she will look into it
⇒    Erin said 30 bottles of wine for $65 + tax
⇒    Posters cannot be put in the CAW yet they have not been approved
⇒    Art work must be approved
⇒    Posters will be handed out at the auction from Big Brothers Big Sisters
⇒    We will have a donation box available at the auction
⇒    If there are any members that can go to the Rotary International Meeting on the 26th of October let Cynthia know it’s at 12:00 at the Caboto Club
⇒    We will put a doodle up for these meetings
⇒    Anna will take a second group of people on the following Monday November 2

⇒    Kristen and Erin are our new PR team
⇒    Kathy and Ashley are our new event planning team

⇒    If there is anywhere you think we can advertise let us know and give them a poster
⇒    Article will be put in the lance this coming week
⇒    Big Brothers and Big Sisters is putting a press package for the Windsor star
⇒    We will also get an email to the pulse
⇒    Red wine will be the choice for wine
⇒    We will be insured by the venue not UWSA
⇒    We will stamp people that are going to drink and are of age to drink

4.    Pinning ceremony

⇒    Tentatively December 6, 2009
⇒    Downtown mission or Iona college for December?
⇒    Downtown mission is very busy around this time of the year
⇒    So we will volunteer at Iona college in maybe January
⇒    We will have a doodle for the dates in January

⇒    Laine thinks we should hold a seminar for the guest speaker, we can book ambassador on Gambling Problems
⇒    Tentatively the last weekend of November for the Problem Gambling Seminar
Next meeting will be put on the doodle and we will put different days other than Sunday on the doodle
