Kristin is going to get us Candy for the club days because she works at bulk barn she will bring them to Cynthia and Alex on Monday in class
Art Auction: we will probably not do the event in October and just focus on the event in November
Alex will talk to Jen Luo regarding support for an event in October
Art Auction will be November 20th time TBA
We need to have a liquor license to sell alcohol
But we need to confirm with Vincent whether they are going to sell the wine or they place is going to sell
We can do a wine corking outing at a Wineary to get wine for the event
Erin is going to look into wine bottling places and we will give them free advertising at the event and we will give the bottles back
We will need to have Rotaract labels on the bottles
We want to get sandwiches for the event the same ones that we used from Sobey’s for the fashion show
-2 fruit platters
-3 veggies
-2 sandwich platters
Josh is going to make a plan for his floor to cut the cheese and make a platter of mixed cheeses and crackers
Wine glasses will be looked into by everyone
Tickets for the event will be sold ahead of time and we will have Brad advertise for the auction
Kristin is going to get John to do acoustics and singing for the auction if possible you can check him out on his myspace page
Please brainstorm ideas for Art Auction title, put ideas on the facebook page
Art needs to be filtered for appropriateness
Only still art will be allowed and the art will be at a set price
Alex will go and talk to Vincent about how the patrons will pay for art
Remaining membership fees were paid
Next Meeting will be September 27, 2009 and a doodle will be sent out this week
